Oscar-winning director Ron Howard is utilizing Impact Crew's feature CrewChat for production communication on his new film "Eden", which began shooting in Queensland, Australia last week. Unlike other messaging platforms, CrewChat is a purpose-built platform for film & TV productions designed to streamline production communication.

“CrewChat is essentially a digital crew list with built-in messaging, calling, distribution, and watermarking”, said Howard. “Instead of using a combination of things like email, WhatsApp, iMessage, and Scenecronize, which can be very challenging to juggle on set, CrewChat allows everyone on a production to communicate securely and seamlessly in one place.”

"Eden" is a thriller that follows a group of people who decide to turn their back on society to forge new lives in the remote and challenging climate of the Galapagos islands. The film explores the extraordinary lengths that humans will go in the pursuit of happiness. The film features a star-studded cast, including Oscar nominee Vanessa Kirby, and the dynamic Sydney Sweeney, alongside industry heavyweights Jude Law, Ana de Armas, and Daniel Bruhl. Legendary composer Hans Zimmer is also contributing to the project, marking his tenth collaboration with Ron Howard.
